Hello, Paula Gaon here, Libra Sun, Cancer Rising, Aquarius Moon. Nice to meet you. I'm one of many aging BabyBoomers scratching my head and wondering where the time went and why I still feel so confused. That planned career never came to fruition, and earning a living is just a necessary chore. A few years ago, after that proverbial mid-life crisis-which I prefer to think of as an extended adolescence, and my mother's advice, decided to get back to artwork-ie clear out the accumulated cobwebs and neurosis and bring to light all that's been gestating the past 30+ years. So here it is. Look forward to sharing a few ideas and images with you! Come over & rap with us: http://www.apsense.com/invite/paulag5777

All Things Must Pass

Hello Everyone,

Here's another "Something for us Babyboomers. This Saturday, George Harrison, the quiet Beatle, would have celebrated his 63rd birthday--hard to believe he's been gone 5 years now. For many of us this is still a painful memory, so let's celebrate George's life remembering the, quiet, unassuming Beatle--the Pisces undercurrent of it all, the spiritual.

Far Out Man

This is great!!

I love it!--
Another Boomer who just can't let it go.

Read the above link, it opens in a new window. Now here's my memory:

After the Beatles Concert in Log Angeles in 1964, I slipped out of a side door in a total daze not realizing it was the fire escape. There was none other
than John Lennon, STILL the love of my life, sneaking a "fag", munching on a few "jelly babies", and getting some peace and quiet. Had a few fags with him and we talked into the night about the future of art and comics. What a blast!

Ah, the memories,

Old hippies never die, we just misplace our love beads.

Happy Birthday, Pisces; Where It All Comes Together

Greetings to all! Keeping warm? We're coming to the home stretch for winter--none too soon for me! Those of us who live in warmer climates are particularily enjoying the first signs of spring. Sun is moving into Pisces, the last sign of the Zodiac, the great matrix where it all comes together--the great undercurrent. Makes sense, doesn't it? The last sign of the Zodiac brings it all together; we're awaiting spring, taking a last look inward and getting ready to get out.

So in honor of the "New Year", all
BFT Zodiac items have been drastically reduced. The current line will soon be discontinued, and you guessed it, a new line just in time for spring will very soon make the scene.

Don't miss this great
Once a Year Sale.

Onward and Upward,

~Paula

Humm, I'm Not The Only One...

Finally made some time to look at Asher's Blog again, Dreams Into Lightening, a fine in depth Blog. One of Asher's recent posts, The Trip Home really cut to the chase for some of us aging Boomers. This post is a must read; my posts along these lines pale after reading Asher's. Be sure to follow the link and read.

Carpe Diam,
